Should we desire Credits for our own work, or should we desire Krishna? Does a Vaishnava take any credit for himself or herself?

Vancha-kalpataru – A devotee is a wish-fulfilling tree. A devotee fulfills the innermost desires of the soul to be reunited with Krishna. That is the greatest form of Compassion. And one who does that is called a Devotee.
The Ornament of a Devotee
What is the Ornament of a devotee? Is it the way in which one dances in kirtan, is it the manner in which one places spoons after taking a meal, is it the way in which one externally shows mannerisms in dealing?
