Cure for the Torments of Kali Yuga
Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya’s Caitanya Shataka states that in Kali Yuga, chanting the Lord’s name and serving devotees is the remedy for those suffering from the cycle of birth and death. Faithful service to the guru and honoring devotees’ remnants purify the hearts of those entrapped in material desires.
Advaita Acarya Appearance
Advaita Acarya, non-different from Mahavishnu, prayed for all living beings, exemplifying compassion not limited to either time or species. Shrila Prabhupada similarly reflected Advaita Acarya in dedicating his life to spreading Lord Caitanya’s mercy all over the world.
The Lost Jewel
Srila Narottama Dasa Thakura’s song Gora Pahun highlights the error of not worshiping Lord Gauranga, equating it to losing a precious jewel of love for Krishna. Śrīla Prabhupāda emphasizes that real love is exclusive to Krishna, and despite past offenses or material desires, through sincere worship and association with devotees, one can reclaim this lost treasure and progress spiritually.
Moving from Sraddha to Nishtha
Śraddhā in Kṛṣṇa consciousness means firm faith that devotional service fulfills all duties. It develops through hearing about Kṛṣṇa and associating with devotees.
Is Krishna Lusty?
Those who say Krishna is lusty are themselves imbued with stains and patches of muddy consciousness.
If someone says to you – ‘I am God’
In India, many falsely claim divinity, exploiting believers. To verify their godhood, they should match scriptural descriptions and perform extraordinary feats.
